Johnson Service Group, a nationally recognized staffing firm, is targeting a High Voltage Field Service Engineer for our widely diversified, critical equipment manufacturing client in Portland, Oregon . The incumbent will perform preventive / corrective maintenance on HV equipment, troubleshoot and repair equipment, and execute / supervise installation and commissioning.

69kV – 550kV experience is a must | up to 80% Travel | Generous relocation is available!

Qualifications :

  • 3-5+ years of High Voltage Substations and equipment (>

    • 69kV), doing field assignments, erection, testing and repair

  • Reside within the Portland, OR area or willing to relocate
  • Equipment experience : transformers, generators, breakers, capacitor banks
  • Knowledge of operating test equipment, such as CB timers, power factor, TTR, conductor, CT testers, Megger
  • Experience performing electrical tests, SF6 leak detection, gas analysis, timing, power factor, & contact resistance
