Clinical Nurse II : Med / Surg Float Pool - Night Shift 36hrs / week

In this role, you will be an essential member of the care team, responsible for assessing, coordinating, planning, and implementing care for your assigned patients throughout their healthcare journey. This position is perfect for those seeking to enhance their nursing skills across 22 different medical and surgical units, covering areas including step-down care, cardiac monitoring, neurosciences, chemotherapy, and more.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities :

• Implement physician orders, administer medications, start IVs, perform treatments and procedures, and document care in accordance with policies and regulations.
• Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to properly assess patient conditions.
• Assess and evaluate patient needs and responses to care to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Utilize sound nursing judgment in patient care management decisions.
• Provide both primary and emergency care for various injuries and illnesses.
• Administer medications as prescribed, including over-the-counter and prescription drugs.
• Collaborate with nursing teams to create and maintain an effective Plan of Care for all patients.
• Guide and direct ancillary personnel while upholding professional nursing standards.
