Radiology Technician

JOB RESPOSIBILITIES:

• Operating radiology equipment and performing x-ray exams in urgent care settings
• Preparing patients for exams
• Positioning patients and ensuring safety during exams
• Answering patients questions
• Recording patient information and updating patient records before and after exams
• Maintaining radiology equipment, performing routine inspections of equipment, and reporting any equipment failures
• Monitoring inventory

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Currently possess and maintain the license for radiology technician in California
• Current BLS license
• Energetic and customer service oriented
• Excellent clinical and communication skills, coordinate with medical staff to ensure high-quality healthcare and client services
• Comply with federal, state, and company regulations and policies regarding ethical, legal, and professional issues
• Maintain HIPPA compliance and patient confidentiality
• Currently reside at or is willing to relocate to Bakersfield, California.
