An Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician is being sought for ongoing 24-hour call coverage at a high-acuity hospital on the South Florida beach. The position requires board certification, at least 3 years of active experience, and current Florida licensure, with responsibilities including managing unassigned OB patients and performing delivery assists. ConTemporary Locums is working with a hospital in South Florida on the beach that is in need of 24 hr OBGYN Call Coverage on an ongoing basis.

Locum Contract OB Hospitalist Job Details :

• 24h shifts
• Multi-provider program with 3 providers on 24 / 7. The practice model is 2 MDs and 1 CNM 24 / 7 / 365. This site is a high acuity, high volume practice location.
• Board Certification with a minimum of 3 years active experience, active / current skills, active or in process Florida licensure.
• Once established, client will schedule months out to a year !
• Shifts are 24 hours in length, the provider must remain in-house during their shift
• Client will consider 4-12 shifts per month ONGOING!
• Start date pending privs (approx 3 mos for clean file)
• Manage unassigned OB patients that present to L&D and the main ER
• # Beds : 460
• Projected Deliveries : 1646
• Delivery Assists : 231
• OBED Visits : 3392
• NICU : Level III
• EMR : Cerner
• Must be BC, 3 years of experience, and no NPDB or disciplinary history
