[job_card.job_description]Provide customer, production, and engineering support for systems, including hubs, remote terminals, and equipment, both onsite and remotely Configure systems, monitor performance, analyze data trends, and resolve technical issues across OSI layers Support CONUS and OCUNUS installations, testing, training, and maintenance of hardware, networking, RF components, and software systems for current and future L-band customers Collaborate with internal NOC teams and external customers to maintain network integrity Opportunity for growth into networking, onsite Networking Engineering, or Field Engineering roles Work on technology supporting meaningful national security initiatives Join a cool, scrappy team that works well together and rotates travel responsibilities
Technical Services Engineer - Carlsbad

Who you are :
- You have 6+ years of experience operating and solving issues with SATCOM terminals and networks
- Proven experience with RHEL, Ansible, and Cisco technologies, including administering and troubleshooting Cisco networks (routers, switches, firewalls), and resolving IP / network issues across all OSI layers
- Demonstrated experience with Linux based servers working in OpenShift / Kubernetes / Virtual environments, and ideally you are a Linux Red Hat Certified System Administrator
- Preferably, you have a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Telecommunications, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience along with a Security+ Certification and Cisco certification : CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, or CISSP
- You are a US Citizen with an active DoD Secret Security Clearance and are able to travel domestically and internationally 25% on a regular basis; big plus if you have your IAT Level 2

Compensation is determined by several factors which may include skillset, experience level, and education.
The expected range for this role is $140,000-$160,000 per year. Please note this range is an estimate and actual pay may vary based on qualifications and experience.
