Driver / Parts Handler

Pay : From $18 / hr – Temporary, Full-Time

Location : Detroit

We are seeking a motivated team player to join our operations team. This role offers hands-on experience in parts handling and delivery, with opportunities for growth for a dependable and adaptable individual.

Key Responsibilities :

Safely operate large vans, box trucks, and hi-lo equipment to transport parts between vendors, assembly plants, and our facility.

Pick up and deliver automotive parts promptly, ensuring accuracy and preventing damage.

Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient parts area.

Assist with crib attendant duties including stocking, inventory control, and order preparation.

Communicate effectively with vendors, assembly plant staff, and internal teams.

Take direction and work through challenges independently, asking the right questions when needed.

Follow all safety procedures and DOT regulations.

Take advantage of overtime opportunities to increase earnings as business needs arise.

Qualifications :

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (must be insurable).

Experience operating large vans, box trucks, and forklifts / hi-lo equipment.

Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to manage tasks independently.

Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks or processes.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Flexibility to adjust to changing schedules, including overtime.

Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and work in warehouse / industrial settings.

Schedule & Employment Type :

Full-time, Monday–Friday, with additional overtime opportunities.

Temporary to start with potential for permanent hire based on performance.

Minimum 40 hours per week.
