Psychiatric - Mental Health Physician

Permanent Addiction Psychiatrist Job in the Bronx, New York

Key Responsibilities :

Oversee daily operations of the outpatient service

Lead interdisciplinary teams and team meetings

Teach and supervise residents, fellows, and students

Provide direct care to a patient caseload

Consult and supervise other providers (NPs, PAs, residents)

Ensure quality and timely documentation

Participate in performance improvement and quality assurance

Assist with regulatory compliance and surveys

Ensure psychiatric coverage (including during staff absences)

Team Includes :

Nurses, NPs, PAs, MD / DOs, social workers, CASACs, peer counselors, pharmacists, and art therapists

Requirements :

Board Certified or eligible in Psychiatry and Addiction Psychiatry fellowship trained

Licensed in New York State, with active DEA registration

M.D. or D.O. from an accredited medical school

Compensation & Benefits :

Base Salary : $270,000 with some room for negotiating depending on experience

Bonus potential : Up to $20K
