A day in the life Wondering what a day in the life of a Payment Poster at The Iowa Clinic might look like?

• Arrive at work in the morning no night shifts here!
• Oversees, processes, and directs day-to-day work performance related to payment posting, banking, lock box, mail, refunds, and reconciliations.
• Pro-actively works with the CBO Payment Supervisors in identifying and resolving issues to assure high quality, efficient, cost-effective services consistent with the needs to the organization.
• Maintains awareness of applicable laws and / or regulations affecting area of responsibility and makes recommendations for changes to ensure compliance. Actively pursues inconsistencies and / or inaccuracies in coding and / or billing and appropriately brings to the attention of the CBO Payment Supervisor.
• Promotes a positive, professional image and represents The Iowa Clinic and Physician Management Resources both internally and externally. Promotes positive interpersonal relations and serves as a role model with all personnel.
