Job Description :
Tier4 Group is seeking an experienced Business Consultant. In this highly visible role, you will report to the Director of Project Management and support projects led or supported from the Operations organization. You will be responsible for coordinating, planning, and developing business analysis and requirements documentation that support a large-scale business project, as well as readiness initiatives, for implementing Salesforce across the Operations organization. This role requires extensive collaboration and communication across multiple business units within Operations and outside of Operations (technology teams, suppliers, procurement). Experience with Salesforce business and / or technical components is highly desirable.
As a Business Analyst, you will :
Formulate and define business and / or systems scope and objectives based on both user needs and a good understanding of applicable industry requirementsDevise or modify procedures to solve complex problems considering business and / or system limitations, operating time, and form of desired resultsProvide analysis of business and user needs, documentation of requirements, and translation into proper business and / or system requirementsGuide and advise less-experienced Business Analysts.Competent to work at the highest technical level of most phases of business and / or systems analysis while considering the business implications of the application of technology to the current and future business environmentAccountable to drive escalation analysis and resolution on complex issuesAbility to communicate difficult decisions timely, clearly, and accurately with internal and external colleaguesDevelop recommendations by applying critical thinking to conduct analysis and weigh riskLead initiatives supporting business strategy and process improvementIdentify gaps in processes / procedures and make recommendations for improvementDevelop a strong network of resources / business partners across the organization and our vendor partnersFacilitate and organize meetings with key stakeholders and business partnersSkills
Development of business process models, process outlines, procedures and job aides to help ready the BusinessPerform requirement management planning for medium to large scale projectsLeads business analysis across multiple parallel initiativesGathering and documentation of functional and non-functional requirementsClear and concise written and verbal communicationsStrong facilitator to drive requirements gathering sessionsCollaborate with business and systems expertsPeer review of work productMay provide oversight of overall quality of work productNegotiate and influence requirements directionLead analysis of impacts to the business (impact analysis)Capable of applying knowledge to handle all but the most complex problems independentlyQualifications
4+ years of professional experience as an IT Business AnalystExperience working on Salesforce or CRM implementation projects
