Job Details :

Minimum 2 years of experience required, first-time travelers accepted

Patient population includes adults to geriatrics

Patient ratio of 1 : 6 with 20 rooms and average daily census of 18

Focus on medical / surgical care with emphasis on renal conditions

Manage hemodialysis catheters, manual PD / PD cycler procedures

Treat conditions including sepsis, telemetry monitoring, ETOH (CIWA), UTI, CKD, and HTN emergencies

Work with Epic and Pyxis systems using SBAR communication

Required certifications : BLS, ACLS preferred

Skills include interpretation and management of dysrhythmias and telemetry

Dress code : Navy or white scrubs or combinations

Float to like units as needed

Work every other weekend unless specified elsewhere

No call requirements

Holiday coverage required based on assignment period

Maximum 7 days requested time off allowed

24 hours of orientation provided

Must complete compliance requirements by Tuesday prior to start date

Must be available to submit core items and complete labs within 48 hours of contract signing

The facility utilizes modern systems including Epic charting and Pyxis medication management, and provides comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams. The organization maintains high standards for patient care and offers specialized equipment for dialysis procedures.
