This position provides clinical leadership and direction for the California-based operations of the CommonSpirit Health Center for Behavioral Health's Call Center. The Director will oversee the California Call Center's staff and operations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based behavioral health services through its hybrid (onsite and virtual) service delivery model. The Director will oversee and expand key service areas within The Center, including: mental health assessments for crisis evaluations in Emergency Rooms and acute medical hospitals (both onsite and virtual), onsite and virtual psychiatry services, the Behavioral Health Placement Coordinator program, and the Behavioral Health Community Health Worker program/services. This role is critical in driving the expansion of The Center for Behavioral Health to become a behavioral health center of excellence and value. The Behavioral Health Director serves as the primary liaison with The Center for Behavioral Health's clinicians/providers, hospital leaders, and will lead efforts to ensure the efficient and effective use of resources within The Center.
