The Rail Superintendent is responsible for overseeing railroad track construction projects, including managing the bid and proposal process, and providing leadership to crew members.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Provide hands-on direction and implementation for track construction, rail yard work, and additional assigned projects.
• Determine required materials and staffing for each project.
• Follow company operating procedures and Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) standards to complete work efficiently and safely, maximizing asset utilization and controlling costs.
• Supervise Foremen and crews to ensure work is completed on time and according to safety protocols.
• Conduct job site inspections, including checking equipment and tools for safety and functionality.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
