About the Position

LocumJobsOnline is working with Lancesoft Inc to find a qualified Radiology MD in California!

We are seeking a Diagnostic Radiologist with Mammography and Breast Biopsy privileges for a long-term locum opportunity in Northern California. The assignment offers excellent compensation, a consistent monthly schedule, and full lodging support.

Key Responsibilities : Position Details :

Interpret studies across multiple modalities including Mammography, PET, CT, MRI, Ultrasound, and X-ray .

Perform diagnostic mammograms and breast biopsies .

Maintain compliance with MQSA standards – 960 mammography studies interpreted every 24 months.

Collaborate with onsite Radiology and Ultrasound technologists and support staff.

EMR : Cerner

Orientation : $300 / hour (half the hourly rate) after 8 hours of training

Holiday Rate : $900 / hour (1.5x hourly rate)

Malpractice : Must be included in the rate

Credentialing : 90–120 days (hospital and foundation privileges required)

Reason for need : Resignation of prior radiologist

Requirements

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology – Required

Active California Medical License – Required

Residency completed in Diagnostic Radiology

Ability to perform diagnostic mammograms and biopsies

BLS / ACLS and DEA – Required

Clean malpractice history – Preferred

Availability for the full 2026 schedule – Preferred
