Description :

This position involves caring for patients with cardiac conditions.

The typical nurse-to-patient ratio is 1 : 4.

The unit has a total of 42 beds.

Shifts require working every other weekend.

Common procedures performed in this unit include cardiac catheterization, open-heart surgery, ablation, and implantable cardioverter-defibrillator placement.

Navy blue scrubs are the designated uniform color.
