$60.00/hr - $63.00/hr

Immediate need for a talented Network Engineer / Architect. This is a 06+months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Cayce, SC (Onsite). Please review the job description below and contact me ASAP if you are interested.

Pay Range: $60 - $63/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

• Support enterprise managed network device configurations (e.g. network switches and routers) and architectures in a high availability environment and support associated network communications, implementations and modifications.
• Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for networking issues and manage, configure, install, troubleshoot, and provide oversight for network devices and network services associated with Data Center Networks, WAN connectivity, Cloud connectivity networks, and associated communication interfaces.
• Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including replacement, service packs, patches, hot fixes, and security configurations.
• Architect and implement network designs across the enterprise.
• Provide network engineering expertise in the disciplines of core routing, core switching, network security, network diagnostics, and load balancing.
• Monitor regulatory requirements, industry trends, and potential impacts to enterprise networks.
• Monitor system performance, connectivity, and resource utilization.
• Provide change management review and approvals. Follow change management policies to ensure awareness, approval, and success of changes made to the network infrastructure.
• Collaborate with client's staff members to broaden network knowledge and technical expertise across the team.
• Ensure system drawings and documentation are revised as needed

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• Key Skills; Network Engineering, Packet Decoding, Cisco Nexus
• 10+ years of networking experience
• Minimum High School Diploma or Equivalency
• Must have prio experience with packet decoding technology (ensure clear on resume where and when last used)
• Experience working in environment subject to regulatory compliance
• Strong engineering and operational skills in Enterprise routing and switching environments
• Deep understanding of network routing protocols: EIGRP, BGP, MPLS, QOS, STP, DHCP, SNMP, TCP, UDP
• Must have experience with network break/fix of layer 2 and 3 environments
• F5 load balancing, Infoblox, SolarWinds (NPM, NCM), Firewalls (PA, Fortinet, ASA)
• Cloud-based connectivity (AWS, Azure)
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written
• Ability to lead, collaborate, or work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi-disciplinary teams
• Cloud Computing & Infrastructure
• Security Architecture
