    The Company is in search of an Executive Medical Director with a focus on Hepatology to provide strategic and scientific leadership for an advancing program. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the asset's strategy to meet clinical, regulatory, and commercial milestones, ensuring alignment with the company's priorities. This role involves overseeing the design and execution of late-stage clinical trials, leading global regulatory activities, and identifying opportunities for life-cycle management to maximize the asset's potential. The Executive Medical Director will also be expected to collaborate across various functions, mentor a high-performing team, and represent the company in external engagements.

    Applicants for this role at The Company should hold a medical degree with specialty training in Hepatology or Gastroenterology, and have a strong background in the global pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry, particularly in the field of hepatology. The position requires experience in late-stage drug development, including Phase 2 and Phase 3 clinical trials, as well as a proven track record in life-cycle management and regulatory interactions. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the clinical and scientific landscape in hepatology, experience in translational medicine, and a focus on biomarker development. The role demands a leader who can foster innovation, monitor competitive activities, and ensure the team is aligned with the company's values and objectives.
