Purpose

As a Lead / Principal Materials & Process engineer, you will help accelerate the adoption and qualification of new manufacturing processes through first principles materials engineering and robust qualification testing.

The Role

• Define and execute material qualification test plans and generate corresponding material allowables for design.
• Write and maintain engineering specifications for materials, processes, and testing.
• Support material related quality monitoring tools and perform root cause investigations for production processes.
• Perform process development and qualification for onboarding of new manufacturing processes.
• Participate in integrated product teams on development and delivery of new products.
• Engage in component design process to provide solutions to customer material requirements including delivering component specific testing.

At Divergent, our pay range is based on the level of the job. For this role, we will consider candidates at levels of Lead Engineer (E06) - Principal Engineer (E07) as evaluated through our interview process.

Pay Range

$155,540—$247,005 USD
