Three Rivers Behavioral Health is a -bed treatment facility that specializes in quality behavioral health and substance abuse services for adolescents and adults. We offer a full continuum of care through an integrated system of inpatient, partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs. Conveniently located between I- (Exit ) and I- (Exit ) in West Columbia, SC, our team of + high quality employees describe working here as " family atmosphere," "supportive leadership," and "life-changing." JOB SUMMARY: To support the medical records department through a variety of clerical, technical and related support services.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Reviews each request for information/copies of medical records to assure that the patient and/or guardian signed the authorization for release of information and that the authorization is completed in accordance with Federal and State laws, and hospital policy.
  • Copies the requested records and assures that the copies are legible.
  • Processes all discharges within hours of discharge.
