Asphalt Plant Operator

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Operate and monitor automated asphalt plant control systems to produce asphalt paving materials
• Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
• Assists in maintenance and repair of plant equipment (use of various hand tools, sledge hammer, cutting torch, welder, pneumatic hammer / drill).
• Must be able to climb stairs / ladders to top of plant.
• Willing to travel and work away from home when required.
• Willing to work nights and weekends when necessary.
• Willing to work in various climate conditions, both hot and cold.
• Report to work at the designated start time.
• Able to work overtime when required.
• Other duties as assigned per supervisor.
