Major Duties and Responsibilities :

• Maintain the overall cleanliness of Newport Aquarium by completing daily checklists and cleaning tasks
• Contribute to overall building maintenance both during operation and after hours
• Proactively find ways to better the overall Guest Experience
• Engage guests with animal facts, information, and personal connections through interpretation
• Daily garbage, recycling, and compost disposal
• Deep cleans using specified machines (pressure washer, carpet extractor, hard floor scrubber, etc.)
• Fulfill House and Grounds duties during after-hours Events
• Additional cleaning and maintenance tasks assigned by the House and Grounds Lead and / or Supervisor
