Position : RN-Medical Surgical-Telemetry (Travel / Contract)

Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care in medical-surgical and telemetry units.

Monitor and assess patient vital signs and health status.

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.

Participate in continuous professional development and training.

Assist in achieving departmental targets and quality metrics.

Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement care plans.

Educate patients and families on health management and recovery.

Adhere to safety and infection control protocols at all times.

Document patient care activities and outcomes accurately.

Utilize data to track patient progress and outcomes effectively.

Maintain high visibility of work activities and results.

Engage in performance evaluations and feedback sessions.

Experience / Qualifications

Current RN license in New York State with BLS and ACLS certifications.

Commitment to continuous professional development and learning opportunities.

Experience in medical-surgical and telemetry nursing settings preferred.

Strong ability to monitor and assess patient vital signs effectively.

Demonstrated knowledge of medication administration and treatment protocols.

Ability to collaborate with a diverse healthcare team for optimal patient care.

Familiarity with safety and infection control protocols in healthcare.

Strong documentation skills for accurate patient care records.

Experience in utilizing data to track patient progress and outcomes.

Ability to engage in performance evaluations and feedback sessions.
