Floor Technician

The floor technician may be responsible for cleaning assigned areas, maintaining floors, carpet, and hard surface floors- including stripping, scrubbing, buffing, waxing, refinishing, sealing and spot cleaning. May be asked to assist with special projects or complete other duties within the account.

Shift : Monday- Friday 5pm-1 : 30am

Location : 5000 W. Chandler BLVD

Pay : 19 hourly

Requirements : Some floor care experience required (stripping, scrubbing, buffing, waxing, refinishing, sealing and spot cleaning). Cleans building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them. Follows procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures. Sometimes using ladders, dusts and washes furniture, walls, machines, and equipment; cleans ceilings and dusts and polishes light fixtures. Washes and replaces blinds. Mixes water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions according to specifications. Strips, seals, finishes, and polishes floors. Cleans and vacuums carpeted areas, including application of spot cleaning treatment.

Basic Qualifications :

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Some floor care experience required (stripping, scrubbing, buffing, waxing, refinishing, sealing and spot cleaning)
• No high school diploma, GED or college degree required
