Lab Technician

Job Title : Lab TechnicianJob Description

Perform laboratory tests and other laboratory work using both conventional and computerized machines and work aids. Conduct tests in accordance with prescribed standards to determine chemical and physical characteristics or composition. Set up, readjust, and operate laboratory equipment and instruments.

Responsibilities

• Enter a variety of data to maintain records, update information, and track results.
• Respond to basic or standard customer questions regarding formulas and the mixture process.
• Clean, maintain, and calibrate standard equipment while ensuring a clean and safe working environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Work Environment

This role is situated in an industrial lab environment, not a clean room or biological lab. The position offers flexible 1st shift hours, Monday through Friday, typically working an 8-hour shift from 7 / 8 AM to 4 / 5 PM, with core hours from 8 AM to 4 PM. The dress code is business casual, and a lab coat is required. The organization is known for promoting from within, though candidates should be aware that the expectation is to be in this role for 9 months, with potential conversion not guaranteed.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00 / hr.
