Genesis10 is currently seeking an Application Programmer with our client in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC and Chicago, IL. This is a 12+ month contract-to-hire position.

Responsibilities :

Develop, enhance, debug, support, maintain and test software applications that support business units or supporting functions, software, hardware, technologies and tools
Participate in or support delivery of designs and implementations
Provide technical direction and system architecture for individual initiatives
Serve as a fully seasoned / proficient technical resource

Requirements :

8+ years of hands-on experience in a Developer / Lead capacity

8+ years of hands-on experience in reviewing requirements and project documentation to understand the application and perform automation feasibility analysis

Java / J2EE

IBM MQ / Kafka

Oracle

Solid computer programming experience (Java, SQL, Spring, Springboot, Webservices (REST and SOAP) & HTML)

Ability to assist with offshore / onshore task co-ordination

Experience in Dev Ops, continuous delivery and continuous integration

Transaction knowledge, JaxB, JMS, Jdbc, WebLogic, JBOSS, MQ, and good handle on core java (streams / files / collections)

Experience with design and development of significant components

Experience performing code reviews

Experience with CICD and deployment activities

Understanding of architecture and bank standards

Ezperience leading large teams

Desired skills :

Drools knowledge

Pay range : $58.26 - $66.26
