Qualifications
MD or DO from an accredited institutionBoard certification in GastroenterologyValid Georgia medical license and DEA registrationExperience in outpatient and surgical settings preferredCommitment to serving underserved communitiesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsBilingual (English / Spanish) a plusResponsibilities
Diagnose and treat gastrointestinal conditions across diverse populationsPerform procedures including endoscopy, colonoscopy, and biopsiesProvide pre- and post-operative care in coordination with surgical center staffCollaborate with primary care and behavioral health teams for integrated careEducate patients on preventive care and chronic disease managementDocument all encounters and procedures in the EMR systemParticipate in quality improvement initiatives and peer review
