Now Hiring : Line Cook – Kassi Venice Beach

Pay : $23 per hour, depending on experience

Location : Venice, CA (Hotel Erwin)

About the Role

As a Line Cook at Kassi, you’ll play an essential role in delivering our Mediterranean-inspired menu with consistency, precision, and creativity. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-energy kitchen, loves working with fresh, seasonal ingredients, and takes pride in creating memorable dining experiences.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Prepare and execute dishes according to recipes and plating standards
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked station throughout service
  • Assist with preparation and execution of menu items such as fresh pastas, wood-grilled proteins, and shared plates
  • Communicate effectively with fellow cooks, chefs, and expeditors to ensure smooth service
  • Accommodate guest allergies and dietary preferences with care
  • Support opening and closing duties, including restocking, sanitation, and station setup / breakdown
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to grow your skills

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous line cook experience in a high-volume, fast-paced kitchen
  • Familiarity with Mediterranean, Italian, or coastal cuisine preferred
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to stay calm under pressure
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods of time
  • Open availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • A positive, team-focused attitude and a passion for great food
