[job_card.job_description]Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field; CPA, EA, or equivalent certification preferred. 5-7+ years of tax preparation experience. Proven experience in tax management or a similar role within public accounting. Strong understanding of accounting principles, debits / credits, and financial reporting practices. Proficiency in account reconciliation processes and balance sheet analysis. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial information. Strong communication skills to effectively convey technical information to clients. Experience with UltraTax and QuickBoooks Preferred.

Job Summary
We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Tax Supervisor / Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong financial acumen and the ability to provide a high-quality tax service across multiple industries. This includes a comprehensive understanding of tax regulation, managing client engagements, overseeing the preparation and review of complex tax returns, and providing strategic tax planning. The Tax Manager will work closely with clients to develop effective tax strategies that align with their financial goals.
Responsibilities
- Client Management : Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and serve as the main point of contact for tax inquiries .
- Tax Compliance : Manage tax compliance for individuals, trusts, corporations and partnerships across multiple industries and complexities.
- Tax Planning and Consulting : Develop and implement strategic tax planning initiatives, advise clients on various tax implications and tax-saving opportunities.
- Stay updated on Tax Laws : Stay updated on changes in tax law and regulations and assess their impact on client situations.
- Accounting : Ability to prepare accurate financial statements for clients and prepare accounting for business tax preparation.
