Travel Nurse RN - Cardiac Catheterization Lab - $3,004 per week in Washington, DC

Job Title : Cath Lab Registered Nurse Profession : Registered Nurse Specialty : Cath Lab Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Day Hours per Shift : 10 hours Experience : 2 years minimum experience required License : Valid state license required Certifications : ACLS, BLS Must-Have : - 2 years of experience in a Cath Lab, Interventional Vascular Lab, or Interventional Radiology preferred - Ability to assist with central line insertion and management - Skills in starting and managing IVs - Proficient in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias - Knowledge of isolation precautions - Experience in monitoring procedural sedation - Capable of ventilator monitoring and PA line management Description : Cath Lab RN position available. No holiday RTO will be approved. Schedule consists of 4 ten-hour days, totaling 40 hours weekly. The unit accepts first-timers with applicable experience. Patient care ratios are 1 : 1. Candidates must possess current certifications in ACLS and BLS. A DC license is required for this position. Skills required include diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures. Additional responsibilities include monitoring patient conditions and assisting in procedures. The unit provides care primarily for adult and geriatric patients. Daily census is around 10 visits, with a setup of 4 rooms and 3 beds. The work involves interdisciplinary support from various medical services. Familiarity with special procedures is required for effective patient care.
