Software Engineer - Principal

Job Duties :

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced software engineer for our Small Verification - AI / ML Team with a strong background in AI / ML to join our Smart team at Siemens EDA. In this role, Candidate will :

• Design and develop AI / ML-driven algorithms and solutions to enhance simulation tools' performance and capabilities.
• Contribute to building state-of-the-art engines and components, integrating machine learning techniques into simulation and verification workflows.
• Contribute to the development and enhancement of production-quality components, algorithms, and engines while supporting and improving existing codebases.
• Solve complex, open-ended problems in collaboration with a senior group of engineers in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Apply technical expertise in AI / ML frameworks, data-driven problem solving, and traditional simulation technologies to achieve project milestones.
• Stay self-motivated, disciplined, and focused while driving innovation within the team.

Education :

A bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Artificial Intelligence, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field from an accredited institution.

This position will be subject to U.S. export control requirements under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and / or Export Administration Regulations (EAR).  Employment is contingent on either verifying the U.S. Person status or obtaining any necessary export license.

The salary range for this position is $151,300 to $272,400 and this role is eligible to earn incentive compensation. The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate’s work location as well as additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education / training.   Siemens offers a variety of health and wellness benefits to employees.
