The Goddard School is seeking assistant teachers to support multiple classrooms in our infant / toddler program 3 months-2 years old at our Murray Hill location.

• This brand new, state-of-the-art preschool facility has ;
• 13 classrooms
• All classrooms equipped with phones, Apple iPads & Bluetooth speakers
• Fully stocked supplies room including arts & crafts
• On site indoor gym and private outdoor play spaces in StuyTown

As an Employee, you will receive the following Benefits :

• Twenty-Seven (27) paid personal days (Yes 27!!!) per year as follows :
• Ten (10) paid personal days per calendar year
• Five (5) paid personal days between Christmas and New Year's Day when the school is closed
• Seven (7) paid holidays per calendar year.
• Five (5) sick days per year (available to all employees, accrual starts with no waiting period)
• Up to 100% tuition reimbursement subject to performance and commitment to work for a specified period.

Qualifications :

An assistant teacher must have a high school diploma or equivalent. An Associate's or Bachelor's degree is preferred.

• Working alongside the classroom teachers to implement planned activities
• Establishing and maintaining a safe, healthy and nurturing learning environment
• Supporting each childs social and emotional development
• Establishing positive and effective family relations and communication
• Maintaining routine and structure in the classroom
