Job Description
This engineering position provides an engaging environment, working in a fast-paced, global, cross-functional team to influence product development and customer use case decisions. The position works with RFID technology which is a critical link for enabling the Internet of Things, Block chain and Omni-Channel fulfillment. This role would work in the food, general retail, and logistics industries.

Responsible for clear focused scientific rigor in evaluating RFID inlays with measurement equipment, various readers, printers and other RFID systems

Responsible for creating and updating test processes and softwares for accuracy and usefulness
\n
\n
\n \n
\n
\n
Evaluate new product samples, accept or reject based on data collected and requirements
\n
\n
\n \n
\n
\n
Formatting RFID media integration into RFID encoding systems collaborating with media design and printer engineering groups
\n
\n
\n \n
\n
\n
Translate customer requirements into design of experiments to define and recommend RFID tagging solutions

\n

\n
\n
Scientific evaluation of RFID systems reporting on fit for use and capabilities

Additional Information
The base salary range for this position will be $70-80K / year. The hiring base salary range represents what Avery Dennison reasonably expects to pay for this position as of the date of this posting. Actual salaries will vary within the range, and in some circumstances may be above or below the range, based on various factors including but not limited to a candidate's relevant skills, experience, education and training, and location, as well as the job scope and complexity, responsibilities, and regular and / or necessary travel required for the position, which may change depending on the candidate pool.
