Field Coordinator -Remote Greenland Camp

Are you ready to trade your desk for the ice sheet? Polar Field Services Inc. is seeking a Field Coordinator to support two exciting field campaigns on the Greenland Ice Sheet near Pituffik Space Base. This is a rare opportunity to contribute to climate science in one of the most remote and awe-inspiring environments on Earth.

You'll assist in retrieving a buried fuel cache and a science instrument located 30–40 feet below the surface. The work involves physical labor, equipment operation, and camp support in extreme Arctic conditions.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate snow machines, chainsaws, shovels, and winching systems to excavate buried items.
• Support daily camp operations including cooking, housekeeping, waste management, and bear fence maintenance.
• Participate in bear watches and ensure camp safety.
• Assist with logistics and transportation of equipment and recovered items to and from Pituffik Space Base.
• Follow all safety protocols and contribute to a productive team environment.
