LanceSoft is seeking a Physician Assistant Cardiovascular / Cardiothoracic Surgery for a local contract job in Atlantic City, New Jersey.

Job Description & Requirements

• 48 hours per week
• Shift : 9 hours, days, nights
• Employment Type : Local Contract

Practice Setting : Inpatient / Hospital-based

Dates of Coverage : ASAP

Average Number of Patients Per Day : Operate on 2 / day; round on 5–12 patients / day (ICU and floor); includes consults

Schedule : Weekday, weekend, and night call coverage needed (varied shifts)

Documentation System / EMR : Cerner

Trauma Level / Designation : None

Will You Accept Providers Needing to Obtain State License? No – need help now

Schedule

Weekday is Monday - Friday- 8 to10 hr days in-house

Night call would start 6 pm - 6 am.

Weekend call  Friday at 6pm thru Mon 6am- call and rounding from 7am-12pm Saturday and Sunday

Required Procedures :

Retrieval of Vascular Tissues for Use as a Bypass Conduit

Endoscopic Retrieval

Chest Tube Insertions

First Assist in OR for Cardiac Surgery

Required Duties :

Rounding

Coordination of Care

Assist in Surgery

Diagnose and Treat Illnesses

Order and Interpret Tests

Write Prescriptions

Suture Removal
