A company is looking for a Senior Cybersecurity Auditor to support an upcoming audit and enhance cybersecurity documentation and compliance.
Key Responsibilities :
Prepare for an upcoming partial audit by reviewing and updating cybersecurity and privacy policies in alignment with NIST 800-53 or similar frameworks
Conduct a holistic assessment and rewrite current policies to improve clarity and alignment with operational best practices
Collaborate with internal teams to gather input and ensure alignment across departments regarding policy updates
Required Qualifications :
Senior-level experience in cybersecurity policy development and audit preparation
Strong understanding of cybersecurity compliance frameworks (NIST 800-53, ISO 27001, etc.)
Hands-on experience preparing for audits and aligning policies to compliance standards
Ability to think strategically about risk while maintaining practical solutions
Relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, etc.) are a plus but not required
