CNA / Recreational Therapist

Description

This position will be working on Thursdays 12pm-4pm, Fridays and Saturdays 9am-5 : 30pm.

This position provides a variety of therapeutic social, recreational and diversional events for clients. Conducts individual assessment to identify the clients' individual interests / needs. Develops and implements an appropriate variety of individual and group activities. Participates in interdisciplinary planning. Coordinates recreation documentation for her / his assigned group of clients. Assists with training and supervising assigned volunteers and / or youth job program assistants / student interns and their activities. Leads facility wide client-directed events.

Required Qualifications :

• Associate's Degree. Two-year college courses in Human Services or significant appropriate and relevant years of work experience may substitute for degree requirement.
• Washington Recreational Therapist Registration upon hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.
