Physiatry / Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Physician

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physiatrist (PM&R) to join our healthcare team in Bronx, NY. The ideal candidate will have experience in workers compensation cases and a passion for delivering exceptional rehabilitative care within a collaborative healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities :

Diagnose, manage, and treat pain from injuries, illnesses, or medical conditions.

Conduct thorough examinations to identify complex or challenging diagnoses.

Develop individualized rehabilitation and treatment plans to restore function and enhance patient well-being.

Prescribe medications, administer injections, and educate patients on exercise, nutrition, and lifestyle modifications.

Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and medical teams to optimize patient care.

Accurately document all evaluations and treatments in compliance with company policies.

Qualifications :

Medical Degree from an accredited university; NY Medical License required.

2+ years of experience in workers compensation; 5+ years preferred, including motor vehicle injury cases.

Workers Compensation Authorized with knowledge of No-Fault and Workers Compensation laws.

Licensed Acupuncturist (preferred).
