[job_card.job_description]Proven ability to operate and perform minor setups on CNC Milling machines (primarily Haas). Strong knowledge of reading and interpreting blueprints and utilizing GD&T. Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments (calipers micrometers height gauges). Solid understanding of standard machine shop practices materials and tooling. Strong attention to detail and a focus on producing quality work. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a production environment. Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment. 2-3 years of experience operating and setting up CNC milling machines is preferred. We will entertain recent graduates from accredited machine training schools with relevant hands-on experience.
We are immediately hiring a CNC Machinist for a direct-hire position specializing in operating and setting up Haas Milling machines. The ideal candidate is a dedicated detail-oriented individual who can ensure the production of high-quality parts that meet precise specifications.

Responsibilities include :
- We are seeking a skilled and precise CNC Machinist / Machine Operator primarily focused on Haas Milling machines. This role requires strong technical ability to set up operate and perform quality checks to ensure optimal machine performance and product accuracy.
- Operate and perform minor set-ups on Haas CNC Vertical Mills.
- Read and interpret blueprints schematics and engineering drawings to determine production methods and specifications.
- Monitor machine operations to detect malfunctions or material issues adjusting settings as needed to ensure product quality.
- Perform in-process inspections using precision measuring tools (e.g. calipers micrometers gauges) to ensure parts meet tolerance requirements.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment adhering to all safety protocols.
- Troubleshoot and resolve minor machine issues or tooling problems during a run.
- Complete production documentation and logs accurately and in a timely manner.
Compensation and Schedule
Pay : $30 - $33 / hr depending on experience (DOE).
Schedule : Full-time Monday through Friday with a shift from 6 : 00 AM - 2 : 30 PM or potentially 7 : 00 AM - 3 : 30 PM.
