Responsibilities :

  • Estimating Support :

Printing out project plans & documents and distribute to estimating.

  • Review project information and submit review notes to the team.
  • Compile list of needed PO / SUB pricing and manage correspondence to receive pricing by bid date.
  • Project Preconstruction Support :

    • Generate necessary submittals.

  • Create and manage Purchase Orders & Subcontracts.
  • Project Execution :

    • Create RFIs & CORs

  • Help manage documentation, contracts, change orders, RFIs, and project correspondence.
  • Track Cost on projects :  Labor, Equipment, Material, & Subcontractors.
  • Track progress & quantities in accounting system.
  • Approve Timecards
  • Code & Approve Invoices.
  • Software’s :

    • Microsoft Office Suite

  • Viewpoint
  • PVault.

    • Requirements :

  • Strong commitment to health and safety with a zero-tolerance mindset
  • Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with field supervisors, subcontractors, and office staff
  • Working knowledge of civil construction, especially in site work, concrete, and DOTD infrastructure projects
  • Computer proficiency, particularly in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in construction, project coordination, or a related role
  • Familiarity with reading construction plans, specs, and schedules
  • Willingness to learn and grow under the guidance of senior project management staff
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

    • Preferred / Desired Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Previous experience assisting with DOTD projects

    • Physical Demands and Work Environment :

    The following environmental / atmospheric working conditions are commonly, but not always, a requirement of this position. The actual working conditions may vary.

  • Work environment includes office machines, electronics and filing systems;
  • Frequent lifting materials weighing up to 50 pounds;
  • Constant sitting, typing and reaching for long periods of time;
  • Must have good hand / eye coordination;
  • Required to sit at a computer for several hours at a time.
