Business Intelligence and Data Analyst

Overview

JOB SUMMARY

The Business Intelligence and Data Analyst will partner with the Manager of Business Intelligence & Analytics as well as cross- functional leaders and departments on a growth journey by transforming operational data into actionable insights and measurable business value. This role is critical to optimizing performance across Supply Chain (procurement, sales, distribution, operations and finance) and beyond. The ideal candidate brings a mix of technical rigor, data driven mindset, business acumen, and a consultative style to drive decision-making and efficiency across the organization.

This role requires a strategic thinker with a solid technical skill set and the ability to provide hands-on data analysis, modeling and visualization to assist others with making business decisions based on a variety of reasons, including data. Using OneStream, Power BI, internal and external data, this position will drive enterprise-wide reporting and analytics, translating complex data into actionable insights empowering various teams and departments including but not limited to Supply Chain (procurement, sales, distribution, operations, and finance).

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Data Analysis, Modeling, and Reporting:Drive enterprise-wide reporting and analytics, translating complex data into actionable insights that empower all teams making up the Supply Chain (procurement, finance, sales, operations, and distribution).Partner with business and department leaders by analyzing operational trends, identifying performance gaps, and surfacing data-driven insights.Perform data analysis activities, including data mining, trend analysis, and predictive modeling, to extract actionable insights.Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive reports, dashboards, and data visualizations that provide stakeholders with timely, relevant, and accurate information which meet evolving business needs.Translate complex data findings into clear, concise, and actionable recommendations for various stakeholders, including leadership.Support strategic initiatives aimed at cost efficiency, process improvement, organizational design, and margin optimization.
• Continuous Improvement:Understand and analyze interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI or One Steam to track KPIs, operational performance, financial metrics, and business outcomes.Participant in and complete end-to-end analytics projects: from scoping business questions, extracting andvalidating data, performing analysis, to presenting actionable findings and driving implementation.As directed by the Manager, create and continuously improve dashboards and data analysis to support internal stakeholders ensuring insights are easily accessible and actionable.Inform Manager on cutting edge data analytics and visualization technologies, that assist with the continuous improvement of processes and solutions.Ensure accuracy, integrity, and consistency of data across all platforms and systems.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, data, economics or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of professional experience with a manufacturing or distribution organization in business analytics, operations strategy, consulting or related field, with a strong emphasis on data analysis and continuous improvement.
• Experience in financial modeling, analysis, and visualization including but not limited to cash flow, financial modeling and analysis and financial planning systems and ERP platforms (. Infor M3, OneStream, Power BI, SQL, Tableau).
• Expertise in Microsoft products including but not limited to Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
