Elica is currently seeking to add a passionate Float Dentist to our team! The Dentist will be primarily responsible for examining and providing clinical dental services and preventive dental care in a community health center setting.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

The successful Float Dentist will be willing and able to :

• Examines individuals requesting care, diagnose their dental / oral conditions, prescribes and carries out, or directs others in carrying out, appropriate dental / oral treatment, or refers individuals for specialty consultation or treatment in conformance with approved clinical protocols and guidelines
• Educates individuals in the nature of oral health related conditions and in the general promotion of oral health related disease prevention
• Communicate with dental staff on our team regarding patient treatment plans
• Supervises the clinical work of the dental assistants and hygienists

The work environment is characteristic of a dental clinic environment. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit; use hands to handle or feel. The employee is also required to stand; walk; and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and / or move up to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus. The employee must also possess hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the phone. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.

Compensation - Dependent Upon Experience

$156000 - $202800 annually
