Join our dynamic team as a Senior Test Consultant, where you will be pivotal in enhancing the quality of electronic medical software utilized by federal agencies. In this client-facing position, you will lead meetings and testing sessions with government representatives, ensuring that we deliver a top-quality product to end users. Your efforts will directly impact the implementation of Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, improving healthcare experiences for active duty service members, veterans, and their healthcare teams.
Responsibilities
- Support manual testing efforts, including both functional and technical / interface testing.
- Gather requirements to develop comprehensive test plans and create test scripts.
- Design and write manual front-end test scripts for various service workflows to validate project requirements.
- Adhere to established test case writing standards.
- Consult with clients regarding the implications of design decisions on testing processes.
- Coordinate and lead testing sessions with federal teams and stakeholders.
- Provide expertise and oversight for multiple workflows within solutions.
- Coach clients on testing best practices and recommend suitable methods for effective system and integrated testing.
- Advise stakeholders on testing activities, defect investigations, and any issues of concern regarding assigned clients.
- Manually execute test cases, ensuring accurate documentation of test evidence.
- Ensure compliance with testing procedures, maintaining records of test evidence and artifacts.
- Lead test plan reviews and manage the schedule of ongoing test executions.
- Document, track, and manage test findings and defects using Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tools.
- Participate in the preparation and review of joint testing and regression cycles.
- Maintain compliance with record management and privacy requirements concerning PHI or PII data during testing.
Qualifications
3-5 years of relevant experience in testing roles.Undergraduate degree or equivalent professional experience.Product or technical expertise in the relevant focus area.Excellent written and oral communication skills.Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team.High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.Effectively manage competing priorities.Demonstrated collaborative mindset with a willingness to work with various teams.Ability to exercise independent judgment to deliver functional solutions for moderately complex engagements.Experience in writing formal test plans / scripts and compiling test evidence within regulated environments.U.S. citizenship required due to client contracts; candidates must be based on U.S. soil.Must be eligible for the appropriate government security clearance associated with the position.Preferred Qualifications
Experience implementing Oracle Cerner products.Familiarity with testing practices.Experience working with federal government clients.Knowledge of EHR workflows, interface validation, or data migration testing.Previous involvement in federal health IT projects (e.g., VA, DoD) or tested in regulated healthcare IT environments.Experience in a clinical or hospital setting, with knowledge of hospital operations and patient care processes.Proficiency in Application Lifecycle Management, JIRA, or other testing management tools.About Us
