Job Overview

We are seeking a professional who will be responsible for completing FMLA, disability and other medical leave forms for Urology of Virginia patients and their families on a timely basis.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Process all paperwork for patients of Urology of Virginia and / or their family members for various leave programs (FMLA, short / long term disability, permanent disability, work notes or other papers as needed
• Adhere to all FMLA and state guidelines for disability
• Phones : answers telephone within 3 rings in a courteous and friendly manner. Returns calls on the same day. Leaves no voice messages in the mailbox at the end of the day
• Informs manager and physician of any potential conflicts or patient complaints / concerns
• Assist patients with signing of consents, explaining orders and any other patient instructions at the time of the hospital work-up visit
• Greet patients in a professional and courteous manner
