A or B Tech - Automotive Mechanic

What You'll Do :

• Use computerized diagnostic tools, gauges, and precision instruments to test and analyze issues
• Perform scheduled maintenance : oil changes, fluid services, tune-ups, spark plugs, filters, etc.
• Align wheels, axles, and steering components with specialized alignment equipment
• Repair and adjust brakes, steering, and suspension systems
• Tear down and rebuild components like starters, alternators, A / C systems, and power assemblies
• Rewire electrical systems, troubleshoot ignition, fuel, and emissions controls
• Service hybrid and fuel-efficient vehicles, including sensors and electronic modules
• Diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, HVAC, and electrical systems
• Follow repair checklists, work plans, and technical manuals
• Communicate findings and estimates to service advisors and assist teammates when needed
• Keep work area clean and organized; take full responsibility and pride in your work
