Appeals Representative

A company is looking for an Appeals Representative responsible for reviewing carrier denials and submitting appeals.

Key Responsibilities

Review ETM task list assignments and rebill / appeal claims as necessary

Determine appropriate actions for denials based on carrier requirements and post rejection codes

Identify trends in claims and report errors affecting claim processing

Required Qualifications

One year of medical billing experience

Knowledge of physician billing policies and procedures

High school diploma or equivalent

Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Computer literate with excellent organizational skills
