[job_card.job_description]Proficient in communication with clients and team members. Attention to detail. Self-starter and initiator. Able to work independently and in a team setting. Flexibility in traveling to project sites and other offices. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.). A valid California driver’s license. Experience with field drilling. General geotechnical engineering analysis experience, such as foundation design, liquefaction analysis, slope stability, settlement evaluation, retaining wall design, or pavement design, is a plus.
We are on the lookout for an Engineer with at least 3 years of pertinent experience in Geotechnical Engineering to become part of our team. We are considering both Staff and Project level candidates. The ideal candidates should possess a BS in Civil Engineering, with an MS in Geotechnical Engineering being a plus.
Key Responsibilities :
- Conducting geotechnical field investigations, including field drilling, site reconnaissance, marking exploration locations, obtaining necessary permits, and coordinating with vendors.
- Reviewing boring logs and preparing data in gINT.
- Performing engineering analyses based on available data.
- Preparing technical memoranda and reports under the guidance of the Project Engineer or Project Manager.
