We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Psychosocial Rehabilitation (PSR) Program Director to join our team. As the Director of PSR, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the administrative and clinical design of the program. Our primary population includes adults (ages 21 and up) with severe and persistent mental illness. This is a leadership role that requires strong clinical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to effectively manage consumers in a group setting.
Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement daily comprehensive group programming
- Provide clinical oversight and guidance to the group ensuring documentation and billing guidelines are adhered to
- Responsible for the development of person centered plans, crisis plans and pre certification
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and standards
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of rehabilitation programs
- Provide counseling and support to patients and their families
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in rehabilitation techniques and technologies
- Manage department budget and resources effectively
Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in Human Services or related field with a minimum of 4 years post graduate experience (Master's degree preferred w two years post graduate experience)Must be deemed a qualified professional by NC DHHS standardsProven experience within group settingsStrong knowledge of interactive therapeutic activities, psychosocial rehab, counseling, art therapy, and other therapeutic modalities to engage patients in group settingExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to effectively manage a team and collaborate with other healthcare professionalsStrong organizational and problem-solving abilitiesIf you are a dedicated professional with a passion for helping others achieve their maximum potential, we would love to hear from you.
