Field Service Technician

Target Starting Pay : $35-$45 / hour (Will receive a lot of OT pay at X1.5 due to travel)

Mission

The Enclosure Field Service Technician will report to the Director of Service. He / she will be responsible for providing in-house and field service support for installations, start-up, troubleshooting, and testing of enclosures and systems. Additionally, he / she will be accountable for adhering to all manufacturing and safety procedures while building and installing equipment.

Outcomes :

  • Organized installation and commissioning of equipment.
  • Building strong customer relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • On-time and on-budget installations.

Critical Competencies :

  • Travel required.
  • Competent in reading and utilizing mechanical and construction drawings / models to build equipment and install it correctly in the field.
  • Experience in construction trades, working with sub-contractors and end customers.
  • Maintain project schedule while working as the foreman onsite.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to provide daily schedule updates to management and customers.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to navigate on-site situations and provide required solutions.
  • Knowledge of forklifts, scissor lifts, and cranes, with an understanding of proper rigging techniques.
  • The ability to work closely with internal departments and operations personnel to ensure customer satisfaction and resolve issues.
  • Strong safety mindset when on customer sites, ensuring personnel and sub-contractors are working within established safety guidelines.
