Hospitalist Opportunity - South Metro, VA

Are you an Internal Medicine-trained Hospitalist looking for an exciting new opportunity? Look no further! We're recruiting for a hospital-employed Hospitalist group in the scenic South Metro, VA area. This position offers the perfect balance of work, life, and...let's be honest, some seriously tempting compensation perks.

What's in it for you?

  • 7-on / 7-off schedule - because everyone deserves a week to recover (or catch up on Netflix).
  • Exceptional compensation for 15 shifts per month - your wallet will thank you.
  • Quarterly service bonuses - up to $25K annually (hello, vacation fund!).
  • Optional additional shifts at $1,400 for 24 hours - for when you're feeling extra ambitious.
  • Work hours from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. - your nights are covered by a Nurse Practitioner.
  • ICU admissions handled collaboratively with the ED physician - teamwork makes the dream work!
  • Nighttime call coverage : You'll be within 20 minutes of the hospital for emergencies (but hopefully, the NP has it all under control).
  • Airway management required - you're the hero when it comes to intubations and thoracentesis.
  • Average census : 12 patients - manageable and meaningful.
  • Specialty consults available - because everyone needs backup sometimes.
