Registered Nurse (RN) | Medical-Surgical Location : Wilmington, NC Agency : Cynet Health Pay : $2,063 per week Shift Information : Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration : 26 Weeks Start Date : 1 / 5 / 2026 About the Position Job Title : Registered Nurse Profession : Nursing Specialty : Medical Surgical Duration : 26 weeks Shift : Night Hours per Shift : 12 Experience : Minimum 2 years License : Must have NC or Compact license in hand at the time of start Certifications : ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have : Teamwork approach to patient care, Focus on patient safety Description : RTO after booking is not allowed. Call-offs or additional RTO on the unit could possibly lead to cancellation. This is a neuro unit. Patient ratios are 1 : 6. Nights of 36 or 48 hours are accepted. If 48 hours are scheduled, then no overtime will be billed until after 48 hours. RTO allowed is a maximum of 7 days. Travelers can be required to float. Weekend coverage requires 5-6 shifts, equating to every other weekend. Contract staff may be required to report to work during any catastrophic event or disaster. Candidates must be comfortable floating based on job description with no restrictions. All travelers are expected to adhere to the call-off policy, which is strictly enforced. Clinical experience in Neuro is preferred. A teamwork approach and the ability to meet behavioral expectations are essential. Must pass EKG testing prior to starting in this specialty. No RTO is allowed during the first week of a traveler's assignment due to orientation. Candidates must work 2 out of 3 major holidays.
