We are looking for an engineering manager to help us scale, improve organizational transparency, provide career development, mentorship, and honest feedback for our smart and talented engineers. Using your varying technical backgrounds and interests, you will drive and provide general technical direction and oversight. You will keep teams efficient and executing on the right goals. We build teams that are inclusive, helpful, and have a strong sense of ownership for the things they build.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to :

• Lead the strategy, architecture, and execution of our core platform technologies, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.
• Extend and improve engineering best practices across the organization, driving the adoption of robust infrastructure automation, site reliability engineering (SRE) principles, integrated security, and maximizing developer efficiency
• Maintain and improve a collaborative environment, acting as a key bridge between application development teams and the platform team. Commit to driving complex platform initiatives to completion
• Motivate and instill a strong sense of ownership in your team for the end-to-end lifecycle, stability, scalability, and performance of our core platform services.
• Mentor and guide the professional and technical development of your team members, championing growth in areas of advanced cloud infrastructure, resilient SRE principles, and proactive DevSecOps practices.
• Ensures that the team delivers high quality products and solutions by following the best practices, e.g. testing, observability, infrastructure as code, and security by design etc.
• Build and scale teams that are collaborative, inclusive, and respectful of each other, fostering a culture of safety and continuous learning.
• Provide continuous, actionable feedback, address underperformance proactively, and recognize the individual strengths and contributions of your team members to maximize their impact and career progression.
• Work closely with engineers and collaborate with key stakeholders to define, maintain a prioritized backlog, and establish clear short-term and long-term goals for the platform roadmap, treating the platform as a core product.
• Own your team's deliverables and ensure the continuous delivery of scalable, highly-available, and cost-efficient platform services and infrastructure.
• Work closely with the recruiting team to hire high potential candidates from diverse backgrounds with expertise in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, SRE, and DevSecOps
